With all the uncertainty in the industry, Locums Agencies need to be a beacon of trust instead of feeding into the bad connotations of the “necessary evil” in the industry. Locums are essential to the industry and hospital recruiters understand that it is not going to change for the foreseeable future.
Vet your vendors and make sure that they have your best interests in mind.
Regional Health Systems in the Southeast continue to value key locum tenens partners over technology solutions.
Smaller Regional Health Systems prefer direct relationships over tech solutions.
Agencies, like Alumni Healthcare, that conduct continual site visits to every client (at least once annually) are preferred, due to their interest/dedication to the local communities and understanding of the area and operating procedures.
