AAPPR Alumni Booth Raises $1,500 for Three Meaningful Causes

The spirit of connection, generosity, and service was on full display at this year’s AAPPR Conference as attendees came together to support the AAPPR Alumni Booth Community Giving Initiative. Thanks to the incredible support of conference participants, we are proud to share that a total of $1,500 was raised during the event.

These funds will be evenly distributed, with $500 donated to each of three impactful organizations whose missions align with strengthening healthcare communities, supporting well-being, and expanding access to care.

Supporting Important Causes

The Root Cause Coalition

Dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health, The Root Cause Coalition works to create healthier communities by tackling barriers such as housing, food insecurity, transportation, and economic opportunity.

Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation

Founded in honor of Dr. Lorna Breen, this organization focuses on protecting the well-being of healthcare professionals and eliminating stigma around mental health support for those who care for others every day.

National Rural Health Association

The National Rural Health Association advocates for improved healthcare access and resources for rural communities across the country, helping ensure quality care reaches every population.
